How To Get Started Working From Home

You can work from home if you really want to, and earn a good income.

How To Get Started Working From Home

The easy way to get started working from home is to start your own blog or Website. Putting up a Website can be a daunting task for a first timer and may cost a fair amount of money if you hire a professional Web master to do it for you.

I suggest a blog, which is almost like painting by the numbers to start. I use Blogspot because they are tied in to google and easy to use. You can chose from a number of others such as Word press if you wish. Just go to google and check out blogs in the search box. You can also do this on Yahoo or MSNBC.

The first thing to do is to decide what content you want to put on your blog. What do you know a lot about that you can share with others?

You can write articles and promote your blog all over the Internet using your blog URL in a resource box at the end of the article - more about how to do that at another time. Don’t worry if you are not a professional writer. All that is necessary is knowledge about a particular product or service and a high school level education in reading and writing.

You can make money on your blog either selling an information product like an e-book or giving your information away and using google adsense to generate income.

Go to google and check out google adsense. They put ads on your blog and pay you when the ads are clicked on. A word of caution, It is best to operate your blog for a while, post some content, and get some traffic coming to your blog before you apply to google to put adsense in. They really do look at what your blog or Web site is doing traffic wise.

To start, decide what you want to talk about, set up a blog, and start writing. You don't have to be a programmer to do this, or to know html. All you need is special knowledge on some subject of interest to people, and the ability to speak plain English.

There is a lot more. I am still learning myself. We will go over my experiences one by one so you can benefit from my trial and error progress in a series of articles I plan to write.
